Although the energy transition requires various actors to make long-term and resource-intensive decisions, examples of how energy scenarios shape decision-making processes are rare. The SOUR project ProdUse attempts to provide a holistic empirical evaluation of the factors influencing the credibility and usability of energy scenarios. The talk will provide an overview of key results and take-home messages for energy system modelers and decision-makers.
