Renewable energy potentials are limited, hence it is paramount to use these resources in an optimal way to increase energy independence. This means that each energy resource has to be used with a priority order. Failing to do so constrains significantly the exploitable potential of local energy resources and increases the need for imports and the risk on energy security.
