Case Study – Decarb Zurich , presentation given by Armin Eberle (ZHAW)
Zurich is on the way to decarbonization. Citizens are asked to support this strategy in a referendum. Even though Zurich has already a lot of experience, it is a perfect moment to apply findings from the DeCarbCH research groups in Zurich. The opportunity to test tools and solutions in the real setting of a city may help as well the city to reach its goals as the researchers to ensure the usability of the findings. The talk will present the challenges and the main fields of collaboration. Hopefully, this will inspire other cites to participate in testing of new solutions.
